Educational pathways at school, college and high school.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Gradually implemented since the start of the 2015 school year, the four educational pathways (Future, Health, Arts and Cultural Education, Citizen) allow us to monitor the student's work in these different areas throughout their schooling.<\/p>

What is an educational path?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

To understand the concept of journey in all its dimensions, it is necessary to consider the two possible meanings of the term "journey".<\/p>

On the one hand, there is the journey from the point of view of the establishment<\/strong>, the one that is the subject of programming integrated into the educational organization of the college or high school. This is the path that we want students to take. On the other hand, there is the journey from the student's point of view<\/strong>, the one that he actually experiences in a personal way and that he gradually appropriates.<\/p>

The educational path is part of a curriculum.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

At school, college or high school, the curricular approach is based on the programs and on the various educational devices<\/strong> implemented (personalized support, exploratory lessons, periods of training in a professional environment, etc.) In college, the common base of knowledge, skills and culture also constitutes a primary frame of reference for the implementation of the courses.<\/p>

The notion of an educational path thus integrates the idea of a progressive acquisition of knowledge and skills that accumulate throughout the student's journey<\/strong>, a path whose main driving force must be the student himself. His support by the entire teaching team must allow him to both structure your acquired knowledge and take ownership of your own path<\/strong>. This appropriation can thus contribute to giving the course its individual dimension.<\/p>

What are the educational pathways?<\/strong><\/h5>

The future course<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

From 6th to 12th grade, the Future course allows each student to gradually build their orientation and discover the economic and professional world. To support the teams in its implementation, Eduscol offers a set of disciplinary and interdisciplinary sheets that cover middle school and high school.<\/p>

The artistic and cultural education course<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

From school to high school, the artistic and cultural education pathway aims to promote equal access to art for all students through the acquisition of a personal artistic culture. Training objectives and progress benchmarks for the implementation of this pathway are set. A guide presents the principles and organization of the pathway for a student.<\/p>

The health education pathway<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

From kindergarten to high school, the educational health pathway makes it possible to structure the presentation of the systems which concern both the protection of the health of pupils, the educational activities linked to the prevention of risky behavior and the educational activities implemented in lessons with reference to school curricula.<\/p>

The student's civic journey<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

From school to high school, the citizenship pathway aims at the construction, by the student, of a moral and civic judgment, at the acquisition of a critical mind and a culture of engagement. It is the subject of a circular, published on June 23, 2016, which specifies the main objectives as well as the methods of management and implementation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
