A look back at the 7th edition of the Rapid Painting Competition at the French International School of Malaga
On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the Lycée Français International de Malaga hosted the 7th edition of its Rapid Painting Competition, which has become over the years an essential artistic event in the cultural life of the establishment.
Organized in the verdant and inspiring setting of the school garden, this event brought together 26 artists out of the 32 registered. In total, 24 works were created and presented to the jury, demonstrating a wide diversity of styles, techniques, and artistic sensibilities. .
The participants were divided into three categories: 14 works in the adult category, 5 in the youth category, and 5 in the children's category. Throughout the morning, the public was able to watch the creation of the paintings live, in a friendly atmosphere conducive to exchange and artistic discovery.
The jury, composed of members of the educational and school community, had the difficult task of judging the submitted works. We warmly thank Mr. Patrice Outin, headmaster, Ms. Desanka Willot, head of primary school classes, Ms. Blandine Vandier, parent representative, Mr. Ilyane Amraoui, student representative, and Mr. Laurent Hayat, art teacher. .
A huge thank you to all the participants for their commitment and the quality of their creations, as well as to the large audience who came to support the artists.
We also extend our sincerest thanks to Mr. Laurent Hayat for organizing this event, which contributes each year to fostering art and creativity within our institution.
