This year again, the LFIM is organizing the International Photography Competition open to all middle and high school students from French high schools abroad.

16th edition of the International Photography Competition

Organized by the Lycée Français International de Malaga

The theme is :

3.. 2.. 1.. Flash!

Photograph sports at school, share your most beautiful images within your school environment.

Capture team spirit, action, perseverance, surpassing oneself, joy, emotion...

REGULATIONS:

Article 1 – This competition is open to all middle and high school students enrolled in a French high school abroad.

Article 2 – Participation in the competition is free.

Article 3 – Only one photo in color or black and white per participant is accepted.

Article 4 – Infographic transformations and AI images are strictly prohibited, except for classic adjustments such as brightness, contrast, saturation, white balance or cropping.

Article 5– The work must be created exclusively by the student.

Article 6 – Only digital photos in JPEG format with dimensions of at least 2500 pixels for the largest side and a resolution of 300 dpi will be accepted.

Article 7—IMPORTANT: Your digital photo must be attached with the registration form provided by our establishment and downloadable at: www.lfmalaga.com.

Article 8—SENDING: all documents (photo + registration form) must be sent to the email address:

cipmalaga@lfmalaga.com

Article 9 – No sending confirmation will be returned to the author.

Article 10 – The closing date for submission is April 19, 2024.

Article 11 – The jury is sovereign in the choice of the selected photos, on the basis of technical or ethical criteria:

• Respect of the theme.
• Composition of the photograph.
• Visual impact.
• Technical quality.
• Propaganda material or material that disseminates hateful messages or any other form of representation that may undermine dignity will be refused.

Article 12 – The decisions of the jury are final.

Article 13– The results will be published on May 10, 2024.

Article 14 – At the end of the publication of the results, the prizes will be sent to the establishments concerned for presentation to the winners, as well as a selection of the 10 best photographs.

Article 15 – Participation in the Competition implies knowledge and acceptance of these regulations. The Competition Management reserves the right to resolve without appeal any situation not provided for in these regulations.

JURY:

The jury will be made up of photography professionals, teachers, parents of students and members of the administration.

OWNERSHIP:

Four prizes will be awarded:

1st Prize LFI Malaga – 600 Euros.

2nd Price – 400 Euros.

3rd Price – 200 Euros.

4th Price – 100 Euros.

EXPOSURE :

– The photographic works of the winners will be revealed and presented in the form of an exhibition at the Lycée Français International de Malaga, the week of June 17 to 21, 2024.
