The Lycée Français International de Málaga, an institution proud of its engaged community, offers a unique opportunity to parents wishing to actively participate in their children's school life. Managed by the Management Committee of the Association for the Development of the French International School (ADLFIM), the high school sets up special commissions aimed at integrating parents into crucial decision-making processes.
As a non-profit association, ADLFIM places paramount importance on transparency and community engagement. The Management Committee, the representative body of the association, is made up of dedicated volunteers who work for the well-being of the establishment without any financial remuneration.
As part of this commitment, ADLFIM is launching a call for applications to form specific committees, open to all parents wishing to be more involved in the life of the school. These committees, covering areas ranging from building works and projects to ancillary services such as catering, extracurricular activities and transport, provide a valuable platform to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
The first commission, “Real Estate Works and Projects”, will hold its inaugural meeting on Wednesday March 20 at 5:30 p.m. This meeting will provide an ideal opportunity to discuss upcoming projects and initiatives aimed at improving the infrastructure of our establishment.
The second commission, “Additional Services”, will meet on Wednesday April 17 at 5:30 p.m. to explore opportunities for improving additional services offered to students and their families.
Other commissions may be created depending on the specific needs and requests of the community.
We encourage all interested parents to submit their application, explaining their motivations by email to coges@lfmalaga.com before March 10, 2024. Each commission will welcome between 10 and 15 members in order to guarantee a diverse and balanced representation of our community.
Your involvement is essential to shape the future of the Lycée Français International de Málaga. Join us in this collective and enriching approach to help make our school a place of excellence and development for all.
